The HubMy Life is an RPG

Pick a world. Scrub it. When a sky feels like yours — start there.

The design context behind the Play tab. A player never sees this; it lives here so nothing drifts.

The model — two levels

  1. The hub scrubs the Catalyst (the sky / the phase / the seat) — no titles. Each point gets Bathala's summary of the atmosphere, and a Start Here (→ Open once visited).
  2. The subpage holds the Stories that live under that atmosphere — each its own isolated silo (own cast, own Anak Bathala), each with its own Bathala summary, the tone woven in. One sky may hold several; a sky may hold none yet.
  3. Stories share a World, never a cast — connected only by ambient leak (a name on a radio, a road-sign chill), never crossover.
  4. Tone (Cozy/Warm/Intense) is the story's TYPE, decoupled from the sky — a Storm can hold a hearth. Capacity, not a quota.

The narrator voice

Hub-level (the sky): Bathala the keeper, musing on the weather and the stories he shelters there — no specific anak. Story-level (the subpage): the Story's single Anak Bathala, watching-POV:

  • One anak only. He is that one and is not them — never "becoming," never "entering." The rest of the cast he sees; he is not them.
  • "I am them, yet I am not." Proven by sun and rain at once — neither turns into the other.
  • Old-tree base + a Rizal lift at the weighted beats. The tone is woven into the telling.
  • Folkloric register per tone: the anak sounds like a different Filipino-folklore being keyed to the story's tone — a guardian-of-place for cozy, a star-diwata for warm, the monsoon for intense. All Bathala, sounding different through each child.
  • The gift stays deniable — "they called it luck." Bathala is never named on the surface.

The hidden mythology (the iceberg — surface never names it)

A forgotten god, Bathala, is the source of the gifts. The gifted are Anak Bathala — and because the god is forgotten, their gifts have no surface explanation, so the cover-lock holds itself.

Never the visible Range, never named as a system — the cross-Story glue, never confirmed. Anak Bathala is also a device: it bends a Story toward grace at scale, deniably — the win reads as luck, never the gift.

Surface universal (sky / dome / boat); depth Filipino (Bathala — the reward for digging). Examples illustrate, never gate. Full dictionary: the vault Glossary.
